Eligibility
Serves Lorain County residents age 18 and over who meet income eligibility guidelines. Applicants are subject to a criminal background check. The Very Low Income (HCVP - Section 8) Eligibility Guidelines (updated April 1st, 2025): - Family of 1 = $34,800. - Family of 2 = $39,800. - Family of 3 = $44,750. - Family of 4 = $49,700. - Family of 5 = $53,700. - Family of 6 = $57,700. - Family of 7 = $61,650. - Family of 8 = $65,650.

Provides housing to low and moderate income citizens living in Lorain County. Federally subsidized through the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing Authority's Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program provide housing subsidy in a variety of apartments giving low income individuals the opportunity to live in dignity while paying an affordable rent.
