Eligibility
- Applicants must live in Jefferson County, meet household income guidelines, and meet certain nutritional or health risks. - Serves women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have had a baby (or been pregnant) within the last six (6) months. - Women younger than 18 do NOT need parent/guardian permission. - Serves infants and children up to five (5) years old. - Income eligibility guidelines are up to 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines that were in effect the previous April 1st. Number in household includes unborn children (Example: A pregnant, single woman is a household of two). Definition of income does NOT include household assets. - Individuals receiving Medicaid, Ohio Works First, or Food Stamps automatically meet income eligibility.
