Provides free and/or reduced medical services for qualifying uninsured patients of Cleveland Clinic facilities, including hospitals and family health centers. Financial assistance is available for emergency and other medically necessary care, and may be available for services provided by a Cleveland Clinic doctor.

Application process

Call the hospital or visit the website for more information. Patients must complete an application, apply and have their eligibility approved to receive the discount. The program is designed so that patients work directly with Patient Financial Services to determine eligibility. Applications must be received within twelve months of the hospital visit.

Fee

Free to apply for financial assistance.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet specific household income guidelines. The patient's total financial situation is considered during the approval process. Discounts cannot be given if it is determined that there is another source responsible for medical expenses such as insurance, Medicaid, or Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP).
