Description

Offers youth an opportunity to perform community service or other sanction and have their record cleared instead of appearing in juvenile court for their offense. A conference is held with the youth, youth's parents or legal guardian, and a magistrate. Once a sanction is set (generally community service) the city oversees the youth to insure compliance to terms. After youth completes the sanction, he/she is placed on inactive probation.
