Application process
Applications for residential lock boxes are available at the Senior Center. The Senior Center takes the residents information and forwards it to the Fire Department. The Avon Fire Department will contact the resident to set up a date for installation.

Fixed one-time fee: $35.

Offers small, safe-like steel boxes in which property owners can store entrance keys. The boxes are attached to the front door or mounted near the front entryway of an individual's residence and can be opened by a master key maintained by the fire department in the event that the resident is unavailable or unable to answer the door.
