Eligibility
Income based
*Help is available for parents who are working in paid employment, attending school, completing vocational training, or working off cash assistance
Required documents
*Proof of income and financial status (from such things as pay stubs, tax records or child support notices)
*Proof of identity (for example, a driver's license or state ID)
*Birth Certificates for all children needing care
*Official school schedule

*Application: can be done online, in-person, or by sending a completed application to JFS through the mail, fax, email, or by dropping it in the 24 hour JFS drop box on location

Families are expected to pay a part of the cost based on income and family size

Provides assistance to pay for part of the cost of childcare for qualifying families as they work toward self-sufficiency. Families receiving this benefit must take their children to childcare providers who are certified or are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The childcare benefit is paid directly to the childcare provider or center.
*JFS can make referrals to certified childcare agencies if needed
