Provides a program to help children who are homeless adjust to new circumstances and continue to strive for scholastic achievement. Can provide: educational materials, tutoring, assistance with school bus transportation, pool of resources, and a school coordinator to assist you. If, due to a lack of housing, must live in a shelter, motel, vehicle, campground, abandoned building, on the street, or doubled-up with relatives or friends (not a legal guardian), then according to the McKinney-Vento Act, you are considered homeless.
