Application process

Check website for informaiton. Walk in or phone M-F: 8:30am-4:30pm to request a form to complete prior to a hearing (the form can be picked up or mailed). If filing by mail, must have the form notarized. Online forms do not require notarization. Once received, the person filing will be informed of the date a hearing will be scheduled. Following the hearing and evaluation of evidence, the board will issue a ruling on valuation of property. The entire process may take several months, depending on number of filings being reviewed. If the property owner does not agree with decision of board, they may appeal to the Court of Common Pleas or the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals within 30 days of decision.
