Eligibility
  • Serves those with an Adjusted Gross Income of approximately $69,000 or less
  • If filing a joint return, both parties must be present.
  • If a minor – the parent/guardian cannot file on the minor's behalf. Both the minor and his parent/guardian for tax returns for minors.
Required documents
  • Photo ID (must be a physical ID
electronic copy not acceptable per IRS). Taxpayers will not be seen if they DO NOT have their Photo ID.
  • Birthdates for you, spouse, and dependents
  • All tax forms (W-2, 1099’s, 1098)
-Form 1095-A (marketplace health insurance) -Any information for other income (ie, Rideshare services) -Social Security card (an electronic copy of your card is acceptable), Individual Taxpayer Identification Number – ITIN Must have social security cards and birth dates of all dependents being claimed
  • IRS PIN (if applicable). PIN issued by the IRS due to the client having identity theft issues.
  • Total paid to daycare/childcare provider and their tax ID number
– NEW FOR 2026 IRS is no longer issuing refund checks and clients will need a Direct Deposit account established or will need to set one up before their tax return can be submitted to the IRS

Provides assistance from a trained VITA volunteer in completing basic Federal and State income tax return forms for 2024 tax year. Will process E-file, amended returns and prior year returns.City Taxes - will not be processing City taxes; however, information on how to do them will be provided to the taxpayer.
