Wood Pointe Apartments | Richland County Mental Health And Recovery Services Board

The purpose of the apartments is to provide one-bedroom, single occupancy apartments for individuals that are either aging out of foster placement, coming out of residential placement, Department of Youth Services, some place where they have not had the ability to learn independent living skills. Individuals will live here, the staff will work with them on how to balance a checkbook, how to shop, how to cook, find a job, getting enrolled in school, things that most of us learn as we were growing up. All of the rooms are furnished.

Application process

Referrals must come from social service agencies.

Fee

Tenants will pay no resident fee for the first 90 days. Each additional 90 days residents will be expected to pay progressively higher persentages of the resident fee until they eventually are paying the rate after one year.
