Provides a discount program for Ohio's older adults and permanently disabled residents. Participating businesses provide special offers to cardholders, including a percentage off purchases, flat-rate discounts, free or discounted products and services, and more. Businesses participate voluntarily and set the details of their offers.

Administers Older Americans Act programs and services and Medicaid home and community-based waivers serving older Ohioans. Provides oversight to Ohio's 12 area agencies on aging. Also offers direct supportive services to Ohio seniors including the Golden Buckeye Card, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman program, and the Ohio Long-Term Care Quality Navigator. Advocates for funding, policy, and programs that improve the health and well-being of older Ohioans.
