Maintains records for the Summit County Common Pleas Court General Division, the Summit County Domestic Relations Court, and the Ninth District Court of Appeals through the Legal Division. Responsibilities include but are not limited to filing and keeping of the court’s records for lawsuits, foreclosures, judgment liens, divorces and dissolutions, child support and custody matters, paternity matters, domestic violence complaints, criminal felony matters, collection and disbursement of court costs and restitution, and notice of appeals.

Summit County Clerk Of Courts
Operates as two (2) Divisions for Summit County - Legal and Title. The Legal Division maintains records for the Summit County Common Pleas Court General Division, the Summit County Domestic Relations Court, and the Ninth District Court of Appeals. The Title Division, with three (3) offices throughout Summit County, is responsible for issuing Certificates of Title for watercraft and motor vehicle owners throughout the region. Title Division serves as a Passport Application Acceptance Agency.
