DELAWARE COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES - KINSHIP PERMANENCY INCENTIVE PROGRAM | DELAWARE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Only available to children families assumed custody of on or after July 1, 2005.KPI, Kinship Permanency Incentive) provides time-limited incentive payments to families caring for their kin. Eligible kinship caregivers will receive an initial payment to defray costs of initial placement and may receive subsequent payments at six-month intervals to support the stability of the child's placement in the home. The maximum incentive amount may not exceed eight payments and will not be provided for longer than forty-eight consecutive months.

Eligibility

Anyone who received legal custody or guardianship of a child after July 2005 as a result of child abuse, neglect, or dependency case involving child service agency. Must also complete the application process, and the family gross income may not exceed 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.
