Serves residents of who meet financial eligibility criteria (household income below 125% of current federal poverty guidelines with limited assets). Will evaluate applicants with gross income up to 200% of current federal poverty guidelines and older adults (age 60+) when determining financial eligibility for service. Applicant's problem must also meet case acceptance guidelines .
None required to apply for assistance but all papers related to legal problem will be needed. Copies of tax returns.

In-person intake interviews may be available when necessary to ensure access to organization's services based on individual circumstances. Those who walk into the building M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm can fill out a card to request a call back from an intake specialist.

Evaluates health care cases related to Medicaid or Medicare (denials, terminations) and delays in processing applications; applicants waiver services (in-home health supports, nursing, or aide services) have been reduced, denied or terminated; overpayments where collection of overpayment creates a risk that other benefits will be taken to collect the overpayment; problems with Medicaid/Medicare for currently or formerly incarcerated individuals.
