Eligibility
  • Serves residents of Jefferson County that are at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.
  • For water, gas and electric: Service must be off, have a disconnect notice or is late with payment.
  • May receive assistance one (1) time in a 12 month period.
Required documents
  • Photo ID for all adults in the household.
  • Birth certificate or Social Security card for all household members.
  • Proof of income for household as applicable, including child support, food stamps, and utility assistance.
  • Copy of utility bill.
