DISABILITY RELATED CENTER BASED EMPLOYMENT | WASHINGTON COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Project WAVE is a transition program for young adults with disabilities. The program, whose main goal is employment, is offered to students who have completed all high school graduation requirements and are between the ages of 18 and 22 years old. The school year program provides structured educational experiences designed to support the long term goals of employment, independent living, and community participation.

Eligibility
Participants must: - Be a Washington County Resident, 18 to 21 years old - Be on an IEP (WCBDD Eligible students will have priority) - Have a desire to explore career options and get a job - Have met all high school graduation requirements - Possess basic communication skills - Display appropriate social, grooming and personal hygiene skills - Be independent in feeding and toileting skills - Be willing to use community transportation - Have the ability to learn and follow rules and directions in the work place.
