Application process
First step is to determine what school student will be attending. If school is on list of eligible programs, can receive application materials for scholarship through school. List of designated schools is available on agency web site or by calling. Scholarship applications for renewals are accepted through grade 12 as long as the student meets requirements.

Eligibility
Serves Ohio although those eligible to attend school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District are not eligible. Ages 5-6 or entering kindergartners or first graders who meet income requirements. Family income of 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL) are eligible to apply. Income requirements are waived on renewal applications. Renewal of scholarships are available for those who apply and either remain in the original school district they applied from or who move to a district that is also a designated district. In addition, students must take all required state achievement tests and may not have more than 20 unexcused absences for the school year.
