New Avenues Summer Camp | New Avenues To Independence

Provides a 5-week summer day camp for young people with or without developmental disabilities. Includes swimming (indoor heated pool), gym, art, and music. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available. Autism support is available. The program seeks to reinforce the individual goals of each participant. Staff members are specially trained, and there is a nurse on-site during camp hours. Parents provide bag lunch and transportation; snacks are provided by the camp. Older campers may participate in vocationally oriented activities and community outings. Volunteers are always welcome. Following the 5-week camp, a 2-week extended community engagement program is offered to youth ages 14-21.

M-F: 9:00am-2:00pm, for 5 weeks usually starting in the last week of June. Campers may attend less than the full 5 weeks, but there will be no reduction in tuition.
