Serves Cuyahoga County. Must meet this definition of homeless: living in a car, living in a public building, living in a dangerous situation before you refer them. If they meet the above criteria, refer them to Coordinated Intake for assessment. Serves Cuyahoga County. Eligible applicants must be aged 18 or older, low-income, homeless, AND have a qualifying disability such as AIDS/HIV, mental illness, or chemical dependency. Other age restrictions may apply. In many cases, families living with eligible individuals will be accepted. At times, funds may be restricted to specific populations within the guidelines listed above.

All clients must first be placed in shelter by Coordinated Intake at Bishop William Cosgrove (use the search term: EMERGENCY SHELTER CLEARINGHOUSES). Referral from caseworker at homeless shelter is required (and not guaranteed). Those who have received a voucher for housing through this program, and who have questions or concerns should contact their caseworker at the shelter.

Participants pay 30% of their gross adjusted income toward rent and utilities, and the program pays the remainder of the rent and/or utilities.
