Description

Evaluates cases related to problems with public and subsidized housing (Section 8, Housing Choice Voucher Program, HUD buildings, and others) including: - Evictions and termination from subsidized housing programs; - Rent related matters or issues involving tenant groups; - Denial of applications for subsidized housing that are based on prior criminal history; - Claims for money damages related to tenancy. In all housing cases, applicant must apply for service and deliver papers to Legal Aid at least eight (8) days prior to hearing.
