Athens, Hocking And Vinton County Loss Team | Athens-Hocking-Vinton Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board

The Mobile Crisis Response (LOSS) Team is a partnership between the ADAMH Board, Hopewell Health Centers, and local first responders (Athens County EMS/Athens County Sheriff 911). A Hopewell Health Center clinician will be paired with a paramedic from Athens County Emergency Management Services (EMS) and the team can offer a range of supports from well-checks and de-escalation and linkage to needed services, to inpatient psychiatric admissions. The goal is to meet patients where they are, provide necessary assessments and interventions, and possibly avoid unnecessary visits to the emergency department.
