- Serves Carroll County parents and guardians. - Must be in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy or have a child less than 1 year old. - Must be eligible for WIC Services or Medicaid (do not need to be currently enrolled).

Description

Provides education and information concerning infant sleep safety to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Participants sit through a short class to learn best practices such as placing the infant on its back to sleep in an empty crib and not sharing a bed with the infant. Provides qualified families with a portable crib upon completion of the class, while supplies last.
