Must have developmental disabilities which qualifies them for County Board services, and must no longer be able to live with family. Onset of developmental disabilities must have been prior to 22. Testing using the Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument will be done with new consumers.

Description

Contracts with an outside agency to offer a care facility which provides intensive medical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet the specialized health needs of individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The facility consists of two housing units that accommodate around 13 individuals.

Serves children and adults with developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and traumatic brain injuries. Offers coordinated activities and programs including children's services (focusing on early intervention and community inclusion). Assist in finding comprehensive adult services (including vocational training, community employment, workshop opportunities and senior programming). Residential services offer intensive, on-site housing as well as community supported-living homes.
