For afterschool program, parents must register through their child's school. Parents may phone for information or to see if their child's school is participating. Information and list of participating schools may also be found on the website any time.

Description

Provides after school programs to youth in participating Cleveland schools and recreation centers. Program consists of 2 days of soccer and two days of creative writing and community service learning. Writing and Soccer coaches lead lessons with youth in team-based approach. Youth work towards a goal, such as developing a group poem to perform at the annual Poetry Slam, or to scores goals on the soccer field against participating Cleveland schools.
