Application process

- Visit the website for more information. Online renewal available for ages 21 to 65. - Able to provide individuals with valid Ohio credentials the ability to order one (1) reprint of their driver license or identification card (ID) online. Visit the website for details. - Visit a Deputy Registrar agency for a Driver License or Identification Card. Individuals will have the option of choosing a Compliant DL-ID Card or a Standard DL-ID Card. - Customers will receive their new DL-ID card in the mail within 10 business days after visiting a Deputy Registrar agency. An Ohio Interim Identification form will be issued to customers for use, while the new permanent DL-ID card is being processed and mailed. - After 21 days, if the driver license or identification card has not been received, visit the website or call the agency at 1-844-644-6268 to check the status of the card. - The Interim Identification form will expire 45 days after issuance.
