Provides a one-time utility assistance payment to an eligible household's electric bill during the cooling season. Summer crisis operates from July 1st through September 30th.

Appointment and application required.
Applications may be submitted by
- Calling the CAA appointment line to register for a phone or in-person appointment.
- Scheduling an appointment with CAA online.
- Mailing a paper application, available at CAA and local libraries, to address listed on the application.
Note: An appointment with CAA is still required to complete the application.

Eligibility
Open to residents of Hamilton County with a household income at or below 175% of the federal poverty level whose household meets one of the following criteria:
- includes a household member who is age 60 or older
- includes a household member who has a documented medical condition
- has a disconnection notice or has already been disconnected
- is trying to establish new electric service
- is enrolling in Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP) for the first time or have a PIPP default
