Mental Health - Psychiatric Services - Inpatient | University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center
Provides an inpatient psychiatric unit offering medical/psychiatric care and psychiatric care for older adults. Clients are given a comprehensive assessment, then an individualized treatment plan is created for each patient. The plan may include psychotherapy, medication, individual and family education and support, stress management, fitness and wellness programs, as well as group, occupational and recreational therapy.

Fee
Third party payment accepted: some Private insurance; Medicaid; Medicare. Those without insurance may be eligible for the Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP) (which may cover certain aspects of care). Sliding scale (may slide to zero in some cases) for those who are not eligible for HCAP, have no insurance, do not qualify for any third party payment program, and have income up to 400% of the federal poverty guidelines. Discounted care may be available for those without insurance and income over 400% of federal poverty guidelines. Sliding scale and discounts apply only to medical services that would be covered by the Ohio Medicaid program. Financial counseling is available. Also limits monthly payments to a certain percentage of the family monthly income.
