Eligibility

Must meet WIC income guidelines which are 185% of Federal Poverty Income Guidelines but can be eligible up to 200% of Poverty Income Guidelines if receiving assistance from: - Ohio Works First - SNAP Food Assistance - Medicaid Programs.

Walk-in clinic: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm. In order to best serve participants for certification please visit the office between 8am-11am and 12:30pm-3:30pm.

Description

WIC is a Nutrition and Health Education Program funded by the Ohio Department of Health via the United States Department of Agriculture. WIC services include: - Nutrition & Breastfeeding Education and Support - Supplemental foods supplying key nutrients - Referral to health care providers and community programs - Height checks, weight checks and iron testing. The supplemental foods WIC provides promote good health for pregnant women, women who just had a baby, breastfeeding moms, infants and children up to age five years. The foods are loaded onto a WIC Nutrition Card {WNC} to redeem at participating grocers throughout the state. WIC earns money for our community vendors.
