Eligibility
Anyone residing in a residential home (other than a multiple unit apartment building) that does not have adequate smoke alarms in their homes or smoke alarms are more than five years old.

Have Operation Save-A-Life applications at the First Call 211 office.

Provides new smoke alarms for persons who don't have a working smoke alarm in their home or an alarm that is older than five years old. The smoke alarm is a sealed unit that will last for up to ten years. If a hard of hearing person is in home, red cross will provide one hard of hearing unit. Red Cross will install new units.
