Assists homeowners who are seeking to refinance or borrow against the equity in their homes for the purpose of making home repairs, improvements or consolidate debt. Provides callers with general information on common loan terms, information on closing costs and how to compare various loan programs to determine a true cost. Educates borrowers so that they will not become victims of predatory lending practices.
