Good Samaritan Emergency Help Fund | First Congregational Church

A financial assistance program used primarily to aid those needing help with utility bills in disconnection status only, daily bus passes, Kroger gift cards for food or gasoline, or to obtain money orders made out to the State of Ohio to secure Ohio birth certificate and/or state ID.

Hours

Calls are received on the first of each month right after midnight. There are no in person appointments.

Application process

Clients call on the first day of the month beginning at 5 pm to request assistance through a voicemail system. They will receive a call back on a first come/first serve basis to confirm needs for services. THERE IS NO IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE.

Clients are eligible once every 12 months.
