Financial assistance to families with minor children to prevent their need for ongoing public assistance, retention of employment, or well being of the family. The PRC Assistance Group may be responsible for a co-payment toward requested services.

Application process

Screening ProcessOrder signed March 31, 2020 anyone who has their water shut off dating back to January 1, 2020 they can be the service reconnected. Call the water company to get reinstated. You should still pay your bill. And no services will be disconnected until further notice.

Eligibility

If eligible, households may receive a 1 time $500 payment. With verification of need, they may also be eligible for assistance with other needs related to sheltering at home (i.e. rent, mortgage, utility bill, etc.). Families may be eligible if they are at/below 200% of the federal poverty level, and the following apply: " You have/had a loss or decrease in employment income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic " You reside in Madison County " You have a minor child living in your home, or are pregnant with no other minor children, or are a non-custodial parent cooperating with child support Should anyone ask you about help, or if you know of anyone who has lost employment income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, please refer them to our county website for more information: https://www.co.madison.oh.us/services/job_&_family_services/family_assistance.php
