Provides fire services for the city of Mount Vernon. Juvenile Fire Setters Program is a program sponsored by fire department that is aimed at youths (5-18) who demonstrate a tendency for playing with fire. Program is comprised of representatives from the MVFD, MV City Schools, Knox County Children's Services, and ER staff from Knox Community Hospital (referral required).
