- Initial Enrollment Period: Three (3) months prior to the month of age 65 and three (3) months after the month of age 65. - Special Enrollment Period: Eight (8) months after the last month of current work under an employer group health plan (not Cobra). - Open Enrollment Period (every year): October 15th through December 7th.

Hospital insurance and supplementary medical insurance are also available. Offers recipients with low incomes and few assets may be eligible for extra help signing up for a Part D drug plan.
