Eligibility

Eligibility is based on three factors: your impairment creates or results in a substantial barrier to employment; you can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services in terms of employment; vocational rehabilitation services must help you get and keep a job.

Opportunities For Ohioans With Disabilities

This state agency provides services leading to employment for people with disabilities, beginning at age 14, including visual impairments. Services may include evaluation, counseling, personal adjustment training, placement and follow up. Other services may include independent living services available for visually impaired individuals who are 55 years of age or older.
