Service Dogs | Canine Companions - North Central Region
Trains dogs to assist individuals with physical disabilities. Dogs are able to pull wheelchairs, turn on lights, pick up items and various other task based commands that enhance the independence of people with disabilities. Provides a two-week training session and ongoing follow-up support for each recipient.
