Eligibility
Serves high school students residing in Summit County that have current or prior involvement with child welfare or current out-of-home placement.
Required documents
Will be requested as needed and include:
- Application.
- Recent report card.
- Individualized Education Program (IEP), if applicable.
- Social worker contact information, if applicable.
Hours
Held year round:
- Held one (1) Saturday a month during the academic year.
- Bi-monthly workshops and quarterly virtual lunch-and-learns during the academic year.
- 4-week summer academy held late-June through mid-July on Kent State University campus.
