Will accept referrals from emergency rooms for in-person services to indigent clients only (those who have no insurance, including Medicaid).

Provide Frontline representative with information collected from caller (name, phone number, Cuyahoga county resident) during warm transfer before connecting call. Call for service 24/7. Online chat hours are 7 days a week, 3:00pm-9:00pm. Crisis text FLS to 741741. First priority is given to clients in mental health crisis, and those seeking help for such clients, who are in the community rather than in a hospital emergency room situation. In emergency situations, team will contact police or emergency medical services (EMS) for immediate response.

Description

Provides intervention services to anyone experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Qualified mental health professionals offer the client immediate psychological/psychiatric help including suicide prevention. May provide face-to-face crisis intervention and assessment. Program staff may also refer to a crisis shelter or hospital when needed. Will refer to other services as appropriate.
