Provides a full-service police department that includes a mobile, foot, and bicycle patrol of the area. Responds to, investigates, keeps records of crimes that occur in the area. Works with Cleveland Police Department, which has ultimate authority for the area. Handles missing persons reports, vehicle incidences, disturbance complaints, traffic control during events, assistance to those locked out of cars. Works with security services at area institutions and provides nightly building checks for institutions in the area served. Parking violations are handled by an outside firm.
