Program to place children in permanent adoptive homes. Services include home assessments for prospective adoptive families, preplacement services, assistance to obtain subsidy, and post-finalization services. Also provides non-identifying background information to adult adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents. Includes special needs adoption.

Eligibility
Serves youth that are current Applewood foster care clients, aged through 17 years. Must be mentally and physically able to complete adoption orientation training as required by state law. Must be at least 21 years of age in order to become an adoptive parent and must meet all state adoption and eligibility requirements. No residency requirements.

Provides behavioral healthcare, special education, and social services for children, youth, and families. Offers a multi-disciplinary staff, including licensed counselors, social workers, teachers, nurses, psychologists and psychiatrists. Services include outpatient counseling, psychiatry, residential services, adoption, foster care, in-home and school-based services, internship programs and research partnerships. Provides the site for a residential treatment program for youth with both substance abuse and mental health issues. Operates five sites in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.
