HWAP - HOME WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM | OHIO DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT

Provides a federally funded low-income residential energy efficiency program to reduce energy usage by low income households. Services may include attic, wall and basement insulation; blower-door-guided air leakage reduction; heating system repairs or replacements; and health and safety testing and inspections. Individualized client education is offered as part of the program.

Serves Ohio households at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, households receiving Supplemental Security, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) [NOT emergency HEAP] qualify for this no-cost program.
