Eligibility

LGBTQ+ people with an income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level qualify for legal representation, while a host of events featuring legal services occurs for the general public throughout the year including: record sealing and expungement clinics and name and gender marker correction clinics.

Clinic hours of contact: M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm.

Application process

Visit website anytime for information or to fill out an intake form. May also call M-F: 9:00am-5:00am for intake. When intake is completed the caller should be contacted within 24-48 hours. Must apply at least 7 days before the pending hearing or court date.

Description

Provides a free legal clinic for LGBTQ+ people. Some of the legal area that are included are consumer law (such as fraud and identity theft), family law, civil rights, and administrative assistance (such as SSI or disability). Legal representation for LGBTQ+ individuals within 300% of the Federal Policy Guidelines via Clinic staff alongside an Attorney Referral Network. The Clinic also hosts regular clinics and trainings in partnership with agencies across the state.
