Youth - Vocational Education - Disabilities | Auburn Career Center

Provides career-technical services for students with physical and developmental disabilities. Helps students to become employable by offering workplace and social skills, job training, and work experience in service occupations. Provides assessments for special education.

Eligibility

Junior and Senior high school students through age 21. For Vocational Rehabilitation must be in special education and have an IEP. Must reside in the Auburn Career Center school district. The Auburn Career Center school district includes the following school districts in Geauga and Lake counties: Berkshire, Cardinal, Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Kenston, Kirtland, Madison, Painesville City, Riverside, and Perry, which serve the following municipalities: Aquilla Village, Auburn Twp., Madison, Perry, Bainbridge Twp., Burton Twp. and Village, Chardon City and Twp., Claridon Twp., Fairport Harbor, Hambden Twp., Huntsburg Twp., Kirtland, Middlefield Twp. and Village, Munson Twp., Painesville, Parkman Twp., and Troy Twp.
