Provides homes (through volunteer families) for vulnerable children - helps families before a major crisis hits, tries to keep families intact, minimize children entering foster care and reduce abuse and neglect. Also provides support to those families by providing transportation, facilitating family visits, and by providing tangible resources to host families. Also provides mentors for parents in need and family coaches who monitor the care of the child while he or she is in a host home.
