REFERRALS - CHILD CARE PROVIDERS | STARTING POINT

Provides a referral service to help families find appropriate child care options, including child care centers, and licensed individuals who provide child care in their own homes. Also provides consumer education materials on what to look for when selecting and evaluating a child care program. Organization cannot provide referrals for child care in the client's home (not the same as care in the home of a child care provider). However, if a client has an emergency situation AND has an open case with the county department of children and family services, the county department may be able to make arrangements for service in the home of the client.
