Serves those who are are employed for at least 20 hours per week and whose SNAP or Child Care benefits have decreased or ended due to higher earned income or who have lost their benefits in the past 60 days due to higher earned income. Those who are not employed must be in a JFS sponsored job training program (such as Ohio Works First) and expect to become employed within 60 days of the training program ending.
Varies as scheduled based on the participant's availability (about 1-3 hours per week).

Description

Provides an 18-month program those whose Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Child Care benefits decreased or were discontinued due to higher employment income. Participants receive personalized coaching with a Success Coach at least once per week (in person, virtually, phone, text). Financial counseling, budgeting, and career counseling to plan for long-term higher earnings are provided.
