VETERAN HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION | CUYAHOGA COUNTY FISCAL OFFICER
Provides reductions in property taxes for eligible homeowners in the county. Amount of reduction is calculating by exempting the first $50,000 of value on the property in question. Will answer questions and assist with completing forms regarding the reduction.

Visit website for information or for an application. May also, call or walk in for more information or for an application. Applications must be filed by December 31st of the year Homestead is being applied. Individuals may phone to have a form mailed to them. Those currently receiving the exemption who have recently moved must fill out a transfer form during the application period with their new address.

Eligibility
Serves Cuyahoga County veterans of the US military who have been disabled at the 100% level due to individual unemployability caused by service-connected disability. Persons aged 18 and older who are permanently disabled and spouses aged 59 and older of deceased individuals who previously received the exemption are also eligible to apply. Must have been honorably discharged from the military.
