Eligibility
Meet one or more of the following criteria:
  • School reduced/free lunch participation
  • WIC/SNAP household participation
  • Medicaid enrollment
  • Eligible for one of the above, but not enrolled
  • Be 16 or 17 years of age at the time of applying and complete the training before they're 18
  • Reside in Licking County.

Must have prior authorization from physician

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Application process
Submit the following:
  • Completed application (Including signed parent/guardian affidavit)
  • Proof of driver’s permit
  • Proof of student eligibility (refer to the criteria listed above)
LCHD will contact you if the applicant has been approved.

Teen Driver Safety Scholarship Award! This award will pay for 75 Licking County teens to attend Licking Valley Driving School for drivers education, if they qualify.
