Regulates solid waste disposal in area of jurisdiction. Inspects construction and demolition debris landfills, transfer stations, and waste composting facilities. Investigates complaints regarding landfills, in cooperation with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Information on mercury and its clean-up is available on the web site and by phone.
