Serves owner-occupied, single-family houses. Takes applications year-round for home repair services provided by volunteers, professional contractors and staff. Typical repairs include adding handrails to stairways, repairing and replacing dangerous steps, fixing electrical wiring, repairing plumbing fixtures, installing grab bars, cleaning gutters and other handyman services. May also include Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, carpentry, installing appliances, installing and replacing doors, roof repair, exterior painting, flooring/tiling, trash removal, windows and other yard work.

Eligibility

Income-eligible adults 60 years and over or individuals who are disabled who have lived in an owner occupied home for three or more years. Home must be a single family structure in sound condition. Must be residents of Franklin County.
